Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Lowkly, Inc. (“Lowkly,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our websites (lowkly.com, app.lowkly.com), use our software, mobile and web applications, APIs, integrations, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you accept this policy.

1. Who's responsible

Lowkly, Inc. is the controller of personal information described here. Contact: hello@lowkly.com.

2. Information we collect from you

Account & billing. When you sign up we collect your name, email, phone, business name, address, payment details (via Stripe — we never see your full card number), and the plan you chose.

Service usage. When you use Lowkly, we collect the data you upload, generate, or send through it: client records, lead notes, proposals, invoices, files, messages, recordings, voice testimonials, before/after photos, AI prompts, and the results of AI calls.

Communications. When you contact us, we keep your message, email, and any attachments.

Device & technical. IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URLs, pages visited, timestamps, mobile device IDs, crash logs, and performance telemetry.

3. Information from third parties

Payment processors. Stripe shares limited transaction metadata (charge IDs, amount, customer email, subscription status).

Integrations you connect. If you connect Twilio, Google Calendar, GoHighLevel, Jobber, Housecall Pro, Claude/Anthropic, ChatGPT/OpenAI, or any other integration, we receive whatever data those services send us through your authorized connection.

Advertising platforms. If you arrive through a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad, we receive the click ID (fbclid) and use it to attribute conversions through the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API.

4. Cookies, pixels, and tracking

We use first-party and third-party cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to: (a) keep you logged in, (b) remember your preferences, (c) measure performance, (d) detect fraud, (e) attribute ad conversions, and (f) personalize content. Third-party tracking on our site includes: Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and Stripe. Some marketing pages may run additional analytics (e.g., Vercel Analytics). You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service may stop working.

5. How we use information

We use information to: provide and operate the Service; bill you and prevent payment fraud; respond to support requests; train internal models and improve features; detect and prevent abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms; comply with legal obligations; and market the Service through email, ads, and partnerships. We may aggregate and de-identify information for any lawful purpose, including publishing benchmarks or industry reports.

6. How we share information

We share information only as needed:

Service providers (hosting, payments, email, analytics, AI inference, customer support) who process data on our behalf under contract.

Integrations you connect or authorize.

Legal & safety — to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to investigate fraud, security incidents, or violations of our Terms; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lowkly, our customers, or the public.

Business transfers — if Lowkly is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

With your direction — when you instruct us to share with a third party (e.g., sending a proposal to your customer).

We do NOT sell your personal information for cash. We may share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you.

7. Your end customers' data

When you upload your customers' data (names, phone numbers, addresses, project details, photos) into Lowkly, we process it as your service provider. You are responsible for getting whatever consents your end customers require (TCPA for SMS, recording consent for voice memos in two-party-consent states, etc.). If a customer wants their data deleted, ask us at hello@lowkly.com and we'll work with you to handle it.

8. Data retention

We keep data as long as your account is active. After cancellation we may keep data for up to 30 days for reactivation. After 30 days we delete or de-identify Customer Data unless we're required by law to keep it (e.g., financial records, tax compliance) or unless you've agreed to a longer retention add-on. Backups may persist briefly beyond deletion as part of normal disaster-recovery rotation.

9. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect information: encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest for sensitive fields, principle-of-least-privilege access for our team, and regular security review. No system is 100% secure; we can't guarantee absolute protection.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. Email hello@lowkly.com to make a request — we'll respond within 30 days. Verifying your identity is required to honor a request. We do not currently offer features specific to GDPR, CCPA, or other jurisdiction-specific privacy frameworks beyond the rights described here.

11. Children

The Service is not for children under 18. Don't use it if you're under 18. If we learn that a child under 13 has given us information, we'll delete it.

12. International users

Lowkly is hosted in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different privacy protections than your country.

13. Marketing & AI-content disclosure

We may use customer reviews, voice testimonials, before/after photos, and case-study material you upload for marketing purposes (with your permission as specified in our Terms). We may also use anonymized usage data to train or fine-tune internal AI models. Outputs from our AI features are generated by third-party large language models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, etc.) and may contain errors. Always review AI-generated content before sending.

14. Changes to this policy — customer monitoring responsibility

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time, in our sole discretion, without prior notice. Lowkly will NOT email, in-app notify, push, SMS, or otherwise notify you of changes. It is your responsibility to review the current version at lowkly.com/privacy on a regular basis. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent update. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
