How does Lowkly pricing work?

Lowkly's pricing is built around how contractors actually grow — flat per-company plans with a focus on getting the workflow live without surprise add-ons. This post covers what's included, what the variable costs are, and how it compares to per-user pricing models.

The flat-rate model

Lowkly charges per company, not per user. That matters because contractor teams expand and contract seasonally — five reps in summer, two in winter — and per-user pricing punishes that. With a flat rate, you can add the admin, the sales rep, the spouse handling the books, and the crew lead at no marginal cost. The total monthly bill is predictable, which makes budgeting and cashflow easier. The trade-off: the flat rate is higher than a single-user starter plan on a per-user system.

What's included in the base plan

The base plan covers the core contractor workflow: leads, jobs, quotes, invoices, scheduling, customer database, basic SMS and email, mobile app (PWA, no app store download), and integrations with QuickBooks, Stripe, Google Calendar, and Twilio. The point is to ship contractors a complete workflow at sign-up, not a starter kit that requires three add-ons to be useful.

The variable costs

Two line items vary with usage. Payment processing: standard Stripe rates (2.9% + 30¢ for cards, ACH at 0.8% capped at $5) plus a small platform fee to cover the integration overhead. SMS sending through Twilio: a small per-message cost passed through at Twilio rates. Both are billed transparently — you see the exact pass-through on the invoice each month, not a marked-up bundle. Most contractors land somewhere between $50-$200/mo in variable costs depending on volume.

When Lowkly is and isn't the right fit

Lowkly is built for contractors and home service businesses that want a complete workflow without piecing together five tools. It fits well for crews of 1-25, multi-location operations, and contractors managing subs as well as in-house teams. It's less of a fit for very high-volume operations (1,000+ jobs/mo) that need enterprise-grade reporting and custom workflows — that's ServiceTitan territory and the price reflects it. For most residential and light-commercial contractors, the included feature set covers the job at predictable cost.

Bottom line

Lowkly's flat-rate per-company pricing is built for contractor teams that grow and shrink seasonally. Variable costs are pass-through and visible on the invoice.
